(More customer reviews)I bought these at my local craft store for making chocolate lollipops that look like the old Jello pudding pops I used to get as a kid. I used Merckens light cocoa and white candy melts to do a layered effect. These are chocolate candy molds.... unlike the other reviewer mistakenly thought, these aren't molds for making actual ice cream bars, they aren't meant to contain thin liquids to be frozen. They're for making chocolate candy suckers in the shape of ice cream pops.
I can see how someone glancing at the title could be confused about what they were intended for, but at this time, the product features & description make it clear they're for candy molding. I've been using chocolate candy molds for over 25 years though - when I was a little girl, my mother would help me melt the chocolate and spoon it into the molds (great memories!), so I'm very familiar with their function.
Anyway, for their intended purpose, they work great, the lollipops popped out intact when the chocolate set up, and these molds wash up fine with a sponge and soap. As of this writing, Amazon's price is the same that I paid locally. So if you don't want to drive all over town looking for these, this is a great place to get them.
