(More customer reviews)I have not used the cooler yet, but I was super surprised at the size. I got this one for $18 and for the price, it is awesome! I assumed it was smaller because similar coolers were priced much higher...it holds 60 cans! I am taking this on an upcoming beach/cruise vacation and this cooler should work perfectly for travel. It says it's 15" across, but it is a little wider than that. I measured the collapsed size as about 16.5" across and 3-4" high depending on how tight you get the velcro. When open, the top just velcros on and there are handles on the sides only (to carry like a tub).
