Unlike the old, bulky plastic coolers, the Coleman Collapsible chest is lightweight and holds a LOT of product. We took is camping and it stored all our food and drinks for two nights (including a 20 lb bag of ice!). The velcro flip-top is handy if you want to quickly grab something inside. And best of all, when you're done, it folds up flat and securely with velcro straps and can be tucked away. I love this cooler and cannot imagine going back to the hard plastic ones.
