(More customer reviews)Amazon had the best price (overall) on this item. It went together in 10 minutes. It is VERY lightweight. All of this might be good and it might work like a charm and last forever. BUT...Earthway is cleaning up on this spreader as no way in hell it costs over $50 to make--if that. A "commercial" spreader? Hoo Haa! I'd hate to see their "regular" one. A 3-year old could push this sucker. My roots tend towards HEFT equalling quality in many products, thus this doesn't compute.
But then my old TV weighed 80 pounds and my new, improved, and larger one weighs 30. In sum, this seems too lightweight to be around long, but proof will be in the pudding. My guess is that 4 stars will end up being too high a rating.
November 2010 update. Has worked like a charm to spread salt, but alas its life span is 3 years due to corrosion of its metal parts.
