(More customer reviews)Had this scoop for 30 days, used it about 10 times at most. Broke in two when scooping hard ice cream from the freezer. Looks pretty, but a very poor design. Only dood for soft ice cream. The metal necks down inside the plastic handle to a very small cross section. We also have a Hamilton Beach product purchased about the same time. It looks like a much better design. And the metal does not seem to neck down inside the handle. I don't expect it to break. I wrote Farberware a very nice, constructive letter and showed them pictures. They sent me a form letter back saying to return it via shipping at my expense and they would replace it. As if I wanted another one of these inadequately designed scoops. Maybe OK for soup.
