(More customer reviews)I bought this ice cream scoop as a backup, since my family eats ice cream very frequently, and we were tired of pulling the dirty one out of the dishwasher. This scoop is okay, but it is not as easy to pull through ice cream as a standard OXO good grips scoop (scooping horizontally). This scoop also does not make a ball of ice cream the way my good grips scoop does, so it is probably not going to work well for making an ice cream cone. It works fine for a bowl of ice cream. I like the pop-out lever feature.
