I have a few pieces of Godinger. 2 small crystal Dublin chip & dip sets, and I had purchased a set of 8 Dublin crystal Ice Tea/Water goblets, that were returned due to flaws in all the goblets (tiny air bubbles) and very noticeable raised glass seams on the body of each goblet.
I must say, the Godinger (Shannon/Renaissance line) of crystal/glass appears to be of much better quality. Free of excessive air bubbles, seams, and better clearity. I do find the bucket to be rather on the small side, in so far as being large enough for use as a wine/champagne chilling vessel. Its rather a tight fit (at the bottom) for a bottle, without any ice. The interior bottom is only 3-1/4" in circumference, and 6-3/4" in height. Perhaps crushed ice would be a better option for chilling, as opposed to whole cubes of ice. So, if your looking for an actual wine/champagne bucket. This piece may not be exactly what your looking for, due to its size. All in all, its a very nice ice bucket. Other possible uses. Short vase, or you could even put a candle in it.
