(More customer reviews)Disliking the dark, drab appearance and heavy weight of many ice buckets, this product is lightweight and elegantly designed, pretty enough for any party or table setting, including the very formal. Purchasing it as a gift, I'm unable to comment on the product's functionality, although I have not received any complaints from its recipient, assuming it worked as well as hoped for (the basis of my rating). Before gifting, I opened the box to examine for shipping damage and found none, also noting the lid was a good, tight fit--crucial in keeping in the cold--the bucket also double walled for insulation purposes. I liked the convenient handles and that the inner cavity is removable for separate use. For those who cannot tell from the photo and/or the written description, this ice bucket is made of shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, reflected in its affordable price. Capacity is stated as 3-1/2 quarts, although I have not tested that. This moderately priced item would make a wonderful hostess gift.
