(More customer reviews)I purchased this item for my mobile food vending business. I put some in my icebox to keep the veggies and cheese below 41 degrees. After 8 hours they were still frozen. Cleanup of the ice box was easier, no draining water from melted ice, containers were not sloshing around and opening to create more of a mess. I also put a couple on the top shelf of the compact refrigerator to help it recover faster after opening it. The fridge maintained 37 degrees all day.
I bought 20 of these so it took a while to hydrate them. I did find the warmer the water the faster the hydration. The time was well spent.
