(More customer reviews)I'm making chocolate caramel apples and thought I'd give this a try since it was so inexpensive. This works great with the caramel. It's the perfect size for the larger apples I use and keeps the caramel warm for awhile. I've had no problems with burning it or anything. I'm sure if you microwave it too long without stirring in between, you could, but it's working great for me! I haven't tried it with chocolates yet.
