(More customer reviews)this is an excellent product for the most part. it is well designed and cleans easily. at times it almost seems to work TOO well as items like sodas in the drink chiller and marinating items thrown in the back of the meat drawer can become partially frozen. there is a temperature controller for both the fridge and freezer on the front panel, which requires some trial and error for the perfect balance. right now i have the top half on 43 degrees and the bottom half on two degrees (which is perfect for pints of ice cream) and i think that's pretty close to optimal.
the main problem i've had is with the space allotment. you can fit a medium-sized pizza box on a shelf but no larger and champagne bottles don't fit in the chiller standing up (most white wine bottles do, however). if you're buying this for more than two people who cook at home you're going to need a 2nd unit or you'll be playing fridge tetris with the leftovers on a regular basis.
another issue we've had with it is with the water flow. i've had the line checked a couple of times and there doesn't seem to be a flaw in it, but for whatever reason sometimes the water jets out and sometimes it trickles out. occasionally dumping out a handful of ice alleviates the problem but not on a consistent basis. speaking of water, the filter is difficult to change out and after getting blasted in the face with a surprise deluge i'll be calling the plumber next time.
this is an excellent fridge for what it is but if you need more space you should consider other options. just make sure you have a brita pitcher on hand for "low flow" days.
