The actual color is a true blue that shimmers like metallic car paint colors. It goes on smoothly and easily with a foam brush to cover something, and the consistency is the same as the rest of the DecoArt acrylic paints. This color is a favorite of both of my teens.
I recommend using 2 coats on most surfaces, and it does work on wood, paper, paper mache, and most other surfaces I've tried it on.
