(More customer reviews)I was tired of the hassle of putting foil strips over my pie edges to keep them from getting too dark. I tried the lightweight foil guards--they worked ok, but got bent up when I stored them.
I read the reviews on silicone pie guards and people seemed to like them, the only problem being that they might be a bit small for the larger piepans. I ordered 4 of the 10 inch Anderson Pie shields. I got free shipping and the deal was-buy 4 get one free. They worked great! They also fit my large glass Pyrex pie dishes perfectly. I plan to order more as gifts for my pie baking friends and family.
