(More customer reviews)To be honest I do not spend a lot of time thinking about "specs" for a blender. My old one finally gave up, I needed a new one and this seemed reasonable. I just want to make my morning smoothie and get on with the day. I mean you can't mess up a blender, right? Wrong. The idiots designing this thing apparently never used it. Problems- well for one, you unscrew the glass jar portion from the base for cleaning in the same direction as you unscrew the entire top unit to empty the contents. This means if you are not extremely careful you will dump the entire contents of the jar all over the unit and everything else when you try and empty the unit. The jar sticks as well which accents the problem. Another problem- the goofy little top which is supposed to be a measuring cup I guess continually comes off the unit. If I ever find my receipt this piece of junk goes back.
