The carparntments are wounderful to keep food seprated without having to use bags. You can also have salad and dressing and keep them seprate until your ready to have it. If you get a piece of fabric to wrap it up with, you can have wounderfuly customized bento box with a handle. If your concerned about keeping things cold there enough room under the tray to put ice cube or a small ice pack. I totally recommend this bento box. ^,^

Japanese style two tiered lunchbox with cloth elastic band to keep your lunchbox securely closed. This laquered plastic Japanese lunchbox measures 6 inches long by 4 inches wide and when stacked measures 3 1/3 inches high. The bottom tray measures 1 1/2 inches deep, the plastic covered top tray measures 1 1/4 inches deep and has a 2 compartment mini tray to hold pickles. The laquered lunch box is nice & simple. Hand wash in warm soapy water, the elastic band can be hand washed as well. Made in Japan
