(More customer reviews)I was a little worried about this one but was pleased when we cut into the cake and saw a clearly defined heart-shaped tunnel of chocolate ice cream. It's time consuming to make any ice cream cake because you have to keep sticking it in the freezer, but this one required surprisingly little tending. Be prepared - the "instructions" are absolutely useless as far as temperature and amount of time (if you're using a mix, I suggest following the directions on the box for two 9 inch rounds). Also - be sure to put a *little* more batter in the bottom pan - it's a bit deeper and you need the batter in both halves to rise all the way up to the top for the heart to come out right. I'd recommend using a cake leveler (as opposed to a big knife) to shave any extra cake away so the cake and ice cream are at the same height so the top and bottom of the heart actually meet and are even. This is a good product and the cakes get tons of oohs and ahhs. =) Enjoy!
