(More customer reviews)I use this knife to cut yams, stew meat, carrots, mangos and everything else. It cuts them nicely. I also use the OXO sharpener with it.
The most important thing is that it fits my small hands. And the Santoku style feels natural to use.
I work in a store that sells many brands of Santoku knives but didn't have anything small enough for me to have control. The knife rep taught us the major high quality brands will last 3x longer. I can see why, but if they are too long and awkward, that doesn't help me.
The grip, as always for OXO, feels very natural. Other OXO products I love are a pot scrubber brush, a wisk, a veggie brush.
