(More customer reviews)I got one of these sets for Christmas. Loved it, and immediately ordered a second set. Each set comes with two trays and a lid with a handle. However, you can snap on additional layers as needed. Each layer has a tray which holds 12 deviled eggs. The egg tray is removable, so you can use it to tote other food items. I use it more to take cupcakes to work than I do for eggs. Each layer will hold eight cupcakes, and the sections are deep enough to allow for frosting and decorations.
I also used the set to take macaroni and cheese to work. The trays can go in the microwave. I used it to microwave hot dogs for a children's event we had at work. I did a whole pack of hot dogs in each tray, and then snapped the lid on to keep them warm.
I love the size of the tray. I take the subway to work. Most other food carriers I've looked at are too large to carry around comforatbly. This fits comfortably into a tote bag. It's sturdy, easy to clean, and doesn't take up a lot of storage space.
