(More customer reviews)I was hunting for a less expensive centerpiece for tables at a formal tea. The Godinger three tier serving rack met my needs. It was tall enough to give some height to the table and open enough so that people seated at the table could still see through it to talk to one another. I added ivy and ribbon wrapped around the frame for decoration and used toule netting at the base and top to add accent colors. Desserts were served on the larger plates and fresh flowers in a clear juice glass size vase were put on the top tier. It turned out quite nice.
The rack is meant to take apart and store flat. I wouldn't recommend it.
It was not that easy for me to put together.
