(More customer reviews)I bought this fridge on June 19th 2010. I have had nothing but problems with it. The filter was leaking from the start onto my laminate floor.
Ice maker runs so load it can be heard across the whole house.
Water leaks from the water filler.
Drain pan cracked and flooded my kitchen floor the beginning of October. By the time the part arrived and was finally fixed it flooded 2 more times wrecking my new cabinets and base detail and toe kick.
November - filtered water tasted horrible. Called to get help. Someone came out and said filter was needing changing after only 4 1/2 months and 2 people in the house. Changed filter at $43 for a filter. Water tasted good for 4 days then back to the horrible metal taste. Called again. They sent out a tech would said that it tasted fine to him and that he drinks tap water.
They will not fix or find the problem.
A $2,0000 fridge that we cannot drink the water or use the ice. We haven't even had it more than 5 months yet. I had to call and find out when I would get a claim form re: the damage to my kitchen from the leak.
Maytag customer service is Horrible. A&E factory repair is Horrible!
