But the desk arrived with broken parts, a black permanent marker line on one side, and lacking any instructions. I immediately returned the item and received a refund in full. The poor condition of this desk was largely due to the flimsy design. This was not the vendor's fault: the problem lies with the manufacturer. Another proof of the adage that if something sounds too good to be true, it almost certainly is.
