(More customer reviews)I try to order from Amazon every chance I get, and actually own this item (previously purchased elsewhere). I wanted to buy it for my brother's birthday and although I read the previous warning review about it arriving broken, I had hoped that Amazon had improved it's packaging technique. Unfortunately, it hasn't when it comes to shipping glass items. I have never ever had a problem with Amazon and order a lot through them. This glass decanter was received broken in pieces, just as the previous review had warned. This is a great decanter, just don't order through Amazon. When I called customer service, the rep said, "Well, I can't guarantee the replacement won't come broken," so I said, "Then let's just do a refund." To which he replied, "Okay, you need to take it to the post office and ship it back." What a waste of postage and time.
