(More customer reviews)The dehumidifier I had purchased from Sears lasted 35 years. When I had to replace it, I purchased the Lg. The Lg lasted 5 months. Then It had Ch 01 code. The code is not mentioned in their manual. I checked on line, and many have had the same problem with no resolution. When I called LG (after being on hold for 40 MINUTES), I was told that they could not answer any questions because I had purchased this from an unauthorized dealer. When I called two different and most reputable appliance repair dealers, they told me that they absolutely do not do business with LG. They independently stated that LG is most uncooperative and impossible to deal with.
After my experience with them, I wholeheartedly agree.
