(More customer reviews)The Thomas Kinkade Holidays to Remember tree skirt is beautiful; pricey but beautiful. The backing is also beautiful--a deep blue velveteen. I didn't rate this higher than three stars, however, because of the awkwardness of the battery pack to illuminate the skirt. First, you must remove three TINY screws, insert the batteries, and then re-insert the screws. That doesn't sound difficult, but it IS, because the screws are so small. Why not just have a flip-open case? THEN, to compound the lighting issue, is the arrangment for the on-off switch. The switch is on the battery pack---which is inside a pocket---which is in the bottom of the skirt. That means you have to get under the tree and try to flip the skirt up to reach the pocket, open it, find the switch, and flip it---every time you wish to turn the lighting on or turn the lighting off. I was very disappointed with this part of the skirt. For the hefty price, the on-off switch should be accessible.
