(More customer reviews)We bought this freezer (and matching refrigerator) 2 years ago and have been very pleased. If you're looking to buy dual fridge/freezer units like these you already know there is a huge chasm between the few units around $1000 and the next price group at about $5000 ea. I was skeptical buying at the bottom but Frigidaire manufactures these units for everyone else so I gave them a try. What a pleasant surprise. The freezer unit has been flawless along with the ice maker. When you shut the door the unit generates a vacuum to pull the door closed tight. The unit operation is quiet as well. The internal amenities are obviously going to be a bit more sparse than a Thermador but for the price you absolutely cannot beat these units! Oh, and the plastic shelves haven't broken and don't fall out all the time like other units I've had - very solid.
