(More customer reviews)I bought these to go with my Riedel Vinum wine glasses because the Vinum water glass is just too small to be useful. These are just right for a water glass, nice big bowl and a short stem. They have the same cut edge as the Vinum glasses, and you really wouldn't know that they're not crystal by looking at these and the Vinum side-by-side. Note: the box they come in isn't very strong, and the glasses can break in shipping. Amazon replaced my broken glasses with no questions.

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased the Bodum thermal wall glasses despite the warnings about their fragility. One has already shattered even though I treated it like a museum piece.It was quite nice to look at, but so very fragile.
So I am very delighted with the weight and apparent durability of the Strong Double Wall glasses I received and would have purchased them first had I but known. The "glass" is thick and the weight is hefty.Only two drawbacks, the glasses only hold 11.5 ounces of liquid and the glass does sweat slightly with condensation. So far though, these are the ones to buy.

High quality -- you'd think they were expensive
This is a great Beer Mug Set. Excellent heft and shape. I keep them in my freezer, and they frost over when I take them out. Really -- a wonderful thin layer of actual ice covers the surface -- which is fabulous for a good pint of beer.
My friends have commented that I shouldn't have such good beer mugs since I'm a girl and not a football fan :) (though I can do my share of chugging). In any case, these mugs get mass approval from all my guests at parties. They have no idea how inexpensive they actually are. I'm buying multiple sets as gifts this holiday season -- not just because they're inexpensive, but because they really are the perfect beer mugs.
Really, you don't need to look any further. These are the mugs to get.

While they lasted.
I love beer, and these were perfect for keeping a tall-n'-frosty, FROSTY. They were great.
BUT, within a month, both had fallen prey to a house with dangerous, hard surfaces; their thin walls were little splinters of light on the floor and sink, respectively.
So, if you are sure you can care for them gently and nicely, I'd say get them. If you have a sink with a little bit of a slope that causes them to tip, or you leave them near the edge of a drying rack, you'll be living in constant fear of breaking them.
If I could shelter them, I'd have a set of twelve.

(More customer reviews)I love double walled glass. Things stay hot or cold longer, there's no condensation (unless I put the glass in the freezer) and I love seeing the fluid seemingly suspended in the air.
These glasses do all that, and are much more solid than other similar glasses that I've purchased to the point that I was willing to put one in a freezer to keep a beverage especially cold (something you should never do with a Bodum). However, these do not look as nice as some of the other double wall glasses I've bought. They do not look as attractive as in the pictures, and have an almost industrial look to them instead of the elegant look I was hoping for. I got over that once I started using them, but if you're expecting the look of a Bodum glass, you will be disappointed. However these will likely far out last any Bodum glasses because they are more durable, and I expect to have these for a while.

It makes it feel as if you are drinking from a "dollar store" glass instead of one that costs $6. One good thing though, the ice compartment does help in making your cold drink stay cold longer and doesn't water down your drink by melting ice.

(More customer reviews)These look exactly like the picture. The description states these are a stronger version of a previous design. I can see if they were thinner, they'd be quite prone to breaking. They have a nice feel to them, the weight gives a solid feel, the double wall is a neat effect and it keeps drinks cool or hot, as advertised. They have a slight look to show they are handmade, but it's subtle. I'd guess the breakability would be that of a simple drinking glass, no more, no less. I really like these glasses and I am buying more.
