Danesco Popsicle Mould with Sippers Review

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a mold to make Pedialite popsicles, and this looked great! When the item arrived (very fast!), I immediately filled it up and put it in the freezer. In several hours the popsicles were ready. Well, first of all the size of the popsicles is huge - they are over an inch in diameter, so if you have small children (mine are 3 yo)it'll be way too big for them. Also, because the ice is so wide, it still dripped outside of the holder with any small rocking motion. Second, it was extremely difficult to get the pops out of the mold. Green holder broke, and it took us a couple minutes to get the rest of them out. I contacted the seller, and had a very pleasant response from them, including them shipping me a green replacement. I am now looking for an ice cube tray that I can use with these holders/sippers. And third, the price on amazon stated $6, but shipping was $10! I don't think the shipping costs should be more than the price of any product. So, in conclusion, although the product is colorful, I wouldn't recommend it.

I LOVE these molds!
I love that I can pull one out at a time.
I love that I can wash one mold and refill it when I'm ready.
I love that DS is eating fruit pops when he wouldn't eat pieces of fruit.
Yes, they're more than the ones I got at the dollar store... but totally worth it! I was worried (until I got them) the molds would be unsteady in the tray... they're totally steady and I expect these will last many summers.

Tovolo 80-3879 Freezer Jewel Pops, Set of 6 Review

(More customer reviews)I love the size of these. My 3.5 year old can wear it on her thumb! And she can eat it before it melts all over which i love. They are all different shapes and the one with the most accordion folds broke before i popped it out today. And we've only had them for 2 days!

The pops do come out a little wide for the typical mouth, but it is easy to chew off the star points, leaving a mouth sized pop behind.

(More customer reviews)I had bought some cheaper ice pop molds and it drove me crazy trying to remove the popsicle - warm water, banging them on the counter, having the stick come out without the pop. My two year old would lose interest by the time I got the thing out, half melted and dripping. I thought I'd give these a try, even though I was bit skeptical about the claims of how easy they were to remove. But low and behold, I grabbed that little tab and the silicon peeled right off, leaving a perfectly frozen, molded ice pop - as pretty as one I'd buy at the store. Great product.

They love the fun shapes and enjoy helping Dad scoop the chopped up fruit and vanilla yogurt into the molds. The molds remove easily and wash up quickly, with no foul smells remaining or staining. They aren't too big either, so there isn't any half-eaten pops being tossed in the trash. These are a great buy and worth every penny-we now have 3 different styles in our kitchen.
