(More customer reviews)I like this tea kettle. The color is just what I was looking for. Per the instructions tha came with the tea kettle, there is suppose to be a "fill to here" line on the outside of the kettle. After several months of use, I've yet to find this line. I'm a little disappointed as this is a whistling tea kettle but the whistle is no longer working unless you get the cap on "just so".

(More customer reviews)Got this teapot a little less than 1 year ago (at this writing). Here are my observations:
Positives:
1. It is attractive.
2. The strainer works very well.
3. Good size and shape.
4. Tea tastes great made in it.
The big downside however, is the black plastic outer shell. After 4-5 months of use, it began to break off, piece by piece. The teapot now only has 1/2 of the shell left, and one needs to hold the glass part in while pouring. It will be at the landfill soon...
I suppose that for occasional use, this teapot will last for a while, but it just did not hold up to everyday use for me.
