(More customer reviews)I purchased these for my wife for Christmas one year and I discovered a nasty problem with silver, detergents cause discoloration and speck and corrosion to the spoons.
I suggest washing these spoons by hand with a mild detergent if you want them to maintain their brilliance. Also be careful what silver polish you use if you wish to shine these spoons, make sure you choose a non-toxic one.
BTW silver by tarnishes when left out in the sun, Silver is photo-sensitive, its what they used to use for photography.

(More customer reviews)I was disappointed to find the "heavy weight" spoons are in fact very, very lightweight. The price should have been a big clue that I was not going to get much spoon for the money. Think "greasy spoon" quality cutlery. I wish I had upgraded to a known brand name like Mikasa. These would be great for those learning spoon-bending as a parlor trick.

(More customer reviews)Not sure WHY these are called "Ice Cream" spoons. They look like "Iced Tea" spoons. And thats what I use them for! Shiny. Nice looking. Nice and long, reach all the way to the bottom of a tall glass.
