This is one of my most-hated snow/ice removal tools for vehicles that I've used.
PROS:
* Telescoping handle for hard-to-reach areas
* Handle grip prevents losing... well... your grip
* Horizontal brush design allows for pushing motion for more efficient removal of snow
* Horizontal brush can push larger amounts snow, easier than a vertical design
CONS:
* "T" shape can be unwieldy and top-heavy, harder to stow away
* Horizontal scraper is inefficient on any curved glass surfaces and seems to have no good use
* Small scraper is harder to use because of the blocky shape on the opposite end
* Small scraper is of poor design: breaks easier than most other shapes and tends to scrape inconsistently
As a lifelong Alaskan who has seen her share of winter snow removal tools, this is one of dozens I've used that have quickly found their way to the discard pile. Personally, if I need to remove large amounts of snow from my car I use a household broom. If I'm out and about or have a smaller amount of snow to remove from my car, I use the type of scraper that has the bristles laid out vertically along the handle which is easier to use in a sweeping motion, rather than a "pool cue" motion this scraper requires. The vertical-bristle type are also much easier to stow away.
Don't even get me started on the Hopkins scraper design; the plastic is inefficient at separating ice from glass unless your car is super heated on the inside. Most plastic scrapers scrape from the outer surface-down to the glass, basically "eroding" away the frost and ice on the glass. If the vehicle is heated on the inside, a thin film of water forms between the glass and the ice at which point plastic scrapers begin to "work" by shoving the ice around on the glass. A more efficient design found on brass-bladed scrapers, like the CJ Industries F101 Fantastic Ice Scraper with Brass Blade, actually gets the blade BETWEEN the ice and glass and scrapes the ice off without scratching the glass since brass is softer than glass.
In conclusion, I recommend a Fantastic Ice Scraper in conjunction with snow brush of your choice.
