(More customer reviews)This wine chiller works well in keeping a prechilled bottle of wine at correct temperature for a few hours. While it is neither the best nor the quickest method available on the market, it does an adequate job of bringing room temperature wine down to serving temperature.
Pros:
* Easy to use.
* Faster than just sticking the bottle in the freezer or fridge
* Cleaner than putting the bottle in a bucket of ice and water: no drips.
* Easier to use than a bucket of ice: once you take the bottle out for pouring, it is difficult to push it back down far enough into the ice to continue chilling the bottle.
* Divided sections ensure even chilling, maximizing the surface area being chilled.
* Divided sections prevent the liquid in the product from freezing unevenly so a standard bottle always fits.
* Reuseable
* Won't use up ice that may be needed for making other drinks.
* Product available in a variety of images/artwork or in plain colors to match decor/help differentiate between different wines.
* Reasonably priced.Cons:
* The product is sealed end-to-end and cannot be unrolled for multipurpose use as an ice blanket.
* Because it is sealed end-to-end, the product can only be used for standard wine bottles. Larger bottles and irregular shaped bottles won't fit into product. I would reccomend this product to everyone who drinks/serves wine, especially, picnicers, BYOBs, people who love to entertain.
