(More customer reviews)Coolers are funny. Either you need a really large one or a smaller one; Nothing in between. Too small and after adding ice, there is not much space left for food & drinks. That is what makes the Igloo Coolfus 40 so good. It is the perfect size and shape to load up with plenty of ice and still have loads of space for brewsky's and sandwiches. This Igloo also has the superior 24 hour urethane super insulation maxcold with a soft enclosure that has storage pockets. It even has an elastic strap for securing beach blankets to the top for efficient loaded travel on its wheels. The extendable handle is rugged and works smoothly. There are folding handles on each side.
Why do I call this the perfect size? Because with all its capacity (40 quarts in a cube format), it comfortably sits on the passenger seat in my compact car seat. A rectangular one would not fit. The Coolfus 40 even fits through the open window without having to open the door. The cube shape yields the most internal volume for a given outer dimension. I did not purchase this unit at Amazon but at Target for $69. It was the most expensive cooler they had but the benefits were too great to let the steep price prevent my purchase. It really is a handsome winner. I saw it in all black and all red, but not the blue.

50 can capacity and tons of pockets. Bungee cord top to hold down your towels, jackets, etc.
