(More customer reviews)Got this teapot a little less than 1 year ago (at this writing). Here are my observations:
Positives:
1. It is attractive.
2. The strainer works very well.
3. Good size and shape.
4. Tea tastes great made in it.
The big downside however, is the black plastic outer shell. After 4-5 months of use, it began to break off, piece by piece. The teapot now only has 1/2 of the shell left, and one needs to hold the glass part in while pouring. It will be at the landfill soon...
I suppose that for occasional use, this teapot will last for a while, but it just did not hold up to everyday use for me.
