Much to my surprise, these knives are everything I expected them to be. I was initially introduced to this brand from my sister who is a chef and claimed these were the best knives on the market. She was right!
I have had this set for 6 months, and use them almost every day-- the blades are still VERY sharp. The handles on the knives are easy to hold and control. My only complaint is that they're so sharp; I've almost cut my finger off while cutting a piece of chicken. I'm no master chef, but they do the job and don't depreciate with time.
I definitely recommend this set as a platform to start your Henckels collection. It's no wonder why it's a brand known for its quality.
