(More customer reviews)I did a lot or research before I purchased this mixer. I was a little put off by the price since it appeared much more expensive than the competition. However it is in a class by itself, there is no competition. Compared to the others we have owned, this is so much better it makes the others laughable. I took a normally fairly heavy cheese soup and it ended up so creamy and smooth that everyone we had over over-ate the soup. I can't think of enough good thinks to say about this, it even crushes ice.

(More customer reviews)I don't have much I can say about the Bamix that hasn't been said by many others, but I felt compelled to at least say something about it. This thing is incredible! When we bought our unit, we also bought one of each size of the polycarbonate beekers. It turns out that while you can certainly mix things in any kind of container, the size and shape of these containers is very appropriate for keeping an even consistency in whatever you're mixing, so I am glad we also got them.
My wife immediately made mayonnaise, which she said was "amayonnaisingly easy". (And it was gourmet restaurant quality too.)
I made some "ice cream" out of some frozen organic raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, peaches, and mango. It was really awesome - I froze it right in the beeker, which has a nice tight-sealing lid.
The Bamix is super easy to clean - just run it for a few seconds in a beeker of water and hang it up. We keep it right next to the sink on the stand. While we don't use it every single day, we do use it a lot, and it has really added a lot of great new options for us in the kitchen. Oh - the raw soups are amazing too.
My rating of the Bamix: 6 stars out of 5. It met and even exceeded expectations, and it seems like it is made so well, I bet we will still be using this same unit in 50 years!

(More customer reviews)I've owned my BAMIX hand blender for the past 12-years. It has never let me down and it truly is the most versatile kitchen device in my arsenal of cooking appliances. The machine works well between mixing & blending items on a hot stove, to crushing ice in in a single glass for making margaritas, all within seconds apart. The open ended design allows it to get at all the material you are chopping & mixing, and clean up is truly fast and easy. I've recently bought another hand mixer this year, because I misplaced my BAMIX hand blender. Anyway, what a disapointment to find that this major-named-brand of mixer, only has one blade, and it can't fit into a normal drinking glass. This past month I found my tried-n-true BAMIX hand blender, and was so grateful that I threw out the practically new hand mixer. Now that's true dedication to a product.
I have not seen anything close to the design of this hand blender on the market to this day that can replace this amazing machine. My only complaint is that I wish the price would come down. After all, it is one of the most expensive hand blenders on the market, but it is certainly the best.

Bamix 391120 mincer blade. Chops raw or cooked vegetables and fruit, frozen fruit for ice-cream. Strains vegetables for soups and sauces.
