(More customer reviews)The stainless steel hinges are about 1/8" too long to fit the recess in the plastic of my Igloo Kool Mate 40. In addition, the holes only line up in the long direction and not in the short. The stainless steel hinge size is 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" and the hole spacing is 1 13/16" x 5/8". If they will fit your cooler I think they will be a good option.

Coleman Cooler Hinges Review

(More customer reviews)Reason for this review is our outstanding Coleman cooler had the hinges crack and break at the "hinge" flex part. The cooler is awesome, its the extreme model and holds ice like crazy, but why do I have to replace the hinges? Why would I buy these again knowing they have a short life span? I'm considering it as they will fit, but don't like idea of having to replace them all the time.

Igloo Parts Kit for Ice Chests Review

(More customer reviews)Igloo has a touching faith in plastic flex hinges, and makes the hinge itself very thin. The latch on my cooler breaks almost every season and the hinges usually last a couple of seasons. This stuff is expensive when bought individually and the shipping is usually more than the part cost. This kit provides enough parts to last for several years (even the SS screws) at a price much, much lower than individual purchases. Highly recommended.
BTW, if the plastic lid retainer strap breaks and you don't want to pay a zillion dollars for a replacement, grab a piece of the woven-type plastic box strapping. I punched screw holes in mine with a hot nail to seal the edges, melted the cut edges and the strap has worked for 2 years now. I think I would have been in for well over $20 for a replacement.
