(More customer reviews)I'm so glad I ordered last week, as everyone has now realized how great it is and it's out of stock! It turned our sheer ice parking area into a navigable, safe surface. I have not noticed it sticking to my shoes at all. It makes the difference between a life-threatening mincing walk to the car vs. the ability to boldly tote my usual several bags of work-related stuff without fear. We have had snow and ice on the ground for WEEEEEEEKS and this is the only thing that has helped. Pet-safe salt was useless. The fact that EcoTraction will also help my garden (if spring ever comes) is a big bonus, but buy it for the safety factor and you will not regret it. It arrived in two days and shipping was free (I bought other eligible stuff)!

EcoTraction ET10R All Natural Volcanic Mineral Ice Traction Granules - 22 Pound Bag The EcoTraction natural volcanic mineral traction granules provide superior traction to prevent slips and falls. Manufactured from a hydrothermal volcanic mineral with unique characteristics that make it a highly-effective traction agent, these granules are also environmentally friendly so you will not have to worry about your lawn or pets. This product is non-corrosive.
Each granule has microscopic channels that absorb the slippery layer of water found on ice, which allows it to quickly embed itself into ice and snow. That coupled with each granule's large surface area, multiple contact points, and rigid structure, makes it the ultimate traction agent for slippery winter walkways and driving areas. It is the only product to provide instant grip during dangerous freezing rain storms as there are no working temperature limitation. One cup will safely cover one average parking space (144-square feet area), making this the most cost-effective solution on the market. The granules will absorb solar radiation and heat up enough to help melt into the ice. This bag holds 22-pounds of the volcanic mineral granules.
