(More customer reviews)The inside is very roomy. I like the velcro strips meant to hold a thermos -- I use them to hold the icepack. Inside is a mesh pocket to hold stuff (pocket is tight against the "lid", without any zipper or closure device). As with most lunchboxes for kids, it's just foam as an insulator. A large icepack is needed to keep cold things cold, but I can fit an icepack, drink thermos, food thermos, applesauce, small plastic cup of snack, and a few other small things inside. My daughter picked the pattern, so that was the reason I picked the bag (and for the price). ***** Update: the plastic on this lunch bag is shredding on the inside. The outside is wearing well, but the inside is not & I would't bother to note this however, my son's THermo lunch bag seems to have thicker plastic on the inside & is now finishing its SECOND school year! This one is cute but not durable & probably not even worth the cheap price. I don't recommend it for durablitiy.

(More customer reviews)I have been searching in town for some time for a lunch box large enough for my husband. Even during the school shopping season I was never able to locate one large enough to put at least two disposable plastic dishes in and most won't even hold one.
While we have not tested the full storage limits of this lunch box yet we have found it will hold one large and one medium container or two medium and one small container in the bottom section. The top is large enough for several pieces of fruit and some chips.
The construction is very good. The zippers heavy duty and the fabric appears to be of very good quality.
You will need blue ice if you plan to leave items in the box until lunch time as it will not maintain temperature by itself.
While we have not filled the lunch box fully yet, we plan to take it with us to hold drinks on future car trips.

(More customer reviews)I like the design and the room inside is great! The bag holds more than I thought it would at first. I only wish that they made the bag in more fun colors. And, I just saw that someone at work has the exact same lunch bag already. But, it seems durable and easy to clean and fits all of the fit and fresh containers. Only wish is that it came with a detachable shoulder strap. With all of the other things I carry, it would be nice not to have to hang onto this with my hands.

(More customer reviews)My husband used to bring his lunch to work in plastic grocery bags with old leaky ice packs in them. Not only was this wasteful because he'd have to throw the bag away after the ice pack leaked in it, but he'd threaten the lives of our glass food containers with every occasional drop of the bag, or accidental slam against a door frame.
Now he takes his lunch in this Tasty Tote, and even without an ice pack it stays cold for the two hours or so between our fridge at home and the fridge at work. The amount of insulation fits his daily need, and also provides some cushioning for bumps incurred on the commuter bus! When we take this Tote on car trips, we slip an ice pack in there and our snacks stay cool for several hours!
I love that we can just wash this tote if anything should ever leak, and it seems to be built very sturdily. I'm not suspicious of it breaking anytime soon.
Regarding the style, my husband is the type of manly man where anything TOO stylish is not his style. But this simple, sleek, well-built design is appealing to him, and I personally like that he looks much more professional carrying this into work than plastic grocery sacks. :-)

It's really quite small, only big enough for a sandwhich and a drink, or something comparable. But if you want a small cooler that doesn't look dorky or like it belongs in an elementary school cafeteria, this is a good option.

Icy Cools Reusable Ice Mat, 16" x 10" Review

Well, as soon as I (carefully) cut it in half, the water starts leaking everywhere and there goes my mat in the trash! I'm so disappointed that I've decided to write my review so other customers will know what to expect. If you expect to cut this mat to suit your need, do not buy this!
