(More customer reviews)I got these specifically for the bread dough recipes in a book. They are just the right size and come with lids. Now, before you scoff, you should look at other similar containers - you have to buy the lids SEPARATELY which just seemed so strange to me. I am pretty happy with these - two is good because I can rotate them.
I gave them four instead of five because they came with some sort of light greasy coating that was nearly impossible to wash off. Dishwasher didn't take it off. Hand-washing with liquid dishsoap didn't take it off. I ended up soaking them in super-hot water with a little bleach to get it off. I'm sure it's something added in the manufacture, but had I not been inspecting them carefully, I might have missed the fact that it was not washing off very well. Now that they are clean, I love them!
