(More customer reviews)This is a great item for the price. Lets start by saying I have few soft side ice chest that are a little old and have developed small leaks. Using these are great in that I can keep ice in plastic for addtional cooling and to use in drinks while the Cubies slows the ice from melting and keeps other items cold. I also use them on my back from time to time (contained in a zip lock) to make it feel better and u dont have any worries from melting ice and lots of condisation on the outside of the zip lock. I have used these for the past 5 years (bought about 8 boxes) and only lost about 10 to 12 so far. They work well.

(More customer reviews)I bought a set of these last year on a lark, and they turned out great. They last long enough to cool a mixed drink easily, and the neck becomes a stirrer when the ice melts. Very cool looking when you pull them out of mold. I thought you can even put food coloring in the water to enhance the look. And a reasonable price, too. These folks make many different kinds of molds for ice, my favorite being the Gin and TiTonic set, icebergs and sinking luxury liners. Really, Cool is the word.

(More customer reviews)I decided to take a chance on this--their product information does not clearly state if its both the Triceratops and T-Rex or not. I received only the T-Rex, but you may or may not get the Triceratops. It was still a lot cheaper to get the T-Rex from them as it normally seems to go for $10. It would be best if they did not advertise with the stock photo or stated that when they mean one set, that they mean either the T-Rex or Triceratops, not both.
The product, by FRED's, is, in of itself, great. Very easy to use, although it would be best to have a tray to set it on and to be able to clear a flat surface in the icebox.

Depending on the temperature of the whiskey when you pour it and how many stones you use, they will keep your drink at a pleasant temperature. The only real limitation is the number of the stones that is recommended to use: 3. If you have a wide enough glass, four works, too, but you should not put too much whiskey in the glass. 1-2 fingers only, as drowning the soapstones will only result in a minor change in temperature.

They are both pretty neat, but I have to say that the robots don't float upright, or at least not in soda (I haven't tried it anything else yet). I put it in a short glass of Sprite, and the robot floated to the top on its back which just looks like there is a dead guy in my drink.

Fred Frozen Smiles Ice Cube Tray Review

(More customer reviews)GREAT for any dentite! As a licensed practitioner in the moderately-corrupt state of Chicago... err... I mean Illinois, I can attest to the anatomical accuracy of this ice mold. Someone at some point actually made took an impression of (made a mold out of) a well-designed maxillary denture, probably of female origin. I can't attest to the subsequent ice prostheses occlusion without a recipricating arch, but I would imagine it's there. And even then, it's made of ice, so you could probably equilibrate the things relatively easily.
I find it humorous that someone actually complained that the ice melted too fast, but along that line, these ice shapes are perfect for Scotch. I mean perfect. They're the right overall shape and thin enough to slowly and evenly melt, beginning with that sharp nasal introduction followed by a slow and smooth ride to the end.

(More customer reviews)Quite cool I think. Perfect for those cold rum concoctions of summertime. Sure, it's pretty expensive as an ice cube tray, but it's got a high novelty factor. Pair it with a good Easter Island drink and you have a new tradition in your home.
My recommended drink for these ice cubes:
"Pisco on the brainstem"
5oz Pisco (duty free shops in South America have the cool Moai bottles for much less than any US liquor stores)
3oz Fresh lime juice
2tsp Cane Sugar (Maui sugar is best)
1oz Limoncello (or Orangecello)
2oz Lemon sour mixer
Pour over Maoi ice cubes. Top with 151 rum.
