(More customer reviews)Bottom line: this stuff is the real deal! After searching online and reading several reviews we settled on Musher's Secret for our hyperactive Entlebucher. He tends to run recklessly through everything and often dings up his pads every other month, if not more frequently. After using this product for about a month we have noticed an incredible difference in the playability and smoothness of his pads. There are no more cracks and rough areas that lead to tears and cuts in the pad/paw. He doesn't mind having the wax rubbed in (I think he actually enjoys the foot massage) and the wax also helps minimize the amount of debris he brings in after walks. If your pooch has pad issues I highly recommend that you try this product.

Musher's Secret Paw Protection (1 lb) is a dense barrier wax that forms a breathable bond with your dog's paws. Developed in Canada for use with sledding dogs, it provides protection even in the most extreme conditions. Perfect for dogs who don't like boots! Made from 100% safe and natural waxes, Musher's Secret won't stain carpets, is non-toxic, and is easy to use. The semi-permeable shield is absorbed into the paws, allowing perspiration to escape through the toes. Excellent for preventing snowballing and saltburn on your dog's toes in the winter and protects paws against sandburn and hot asphalt in summer. Apply a small amount on and in-between your dog's toes. If snowballing re-occurs, just reapply. Wipe off excess after use. Musher's has no healing properties but used over a cleaned wound, will keep out dirt and speed the healing process. (More customer reviews)Better yet, it's safe for my dog and that is why I bought it. It's worth every cent, IMO. It works fast, melts snow and ice and has never harmed my dog's paws. If you have a pet who would be walking on a salted area, buy Safe Paw. It's an awesome product! I usually buy 6 canisters and that gets me through a winter in Illinois. You don't need much. A very light sprinkle over an area will suffice. This gets 5 stars from me!
