(More customer reviews)I bought these, tested them on 5 gallon jugs and found they are not water tight. Though not advertised as water tight, I assumed so since they would typically be used on drinking water containers (i.e., "emergency water stash"). Since they are not water tight, then they aren't air tight and should not be used for long term potable water storage without the use of disinfectants (i.e., chlorine).

This simple but effective item is the heart and soul of keeping your purified water contained. This 55mm crown or snap-on light blue cap is the industry standard cap for 3 and 5 gallon water bottles. Its standard intergrated cup seals both the interior and exterior neck of the bottle. Release tab on the outer edge makes removing the cap a breeze. The cap fits both glass and plastic 3 and 5 gallon bottles with a "crown" or "snap-on" top. They are sold two per pack. For reference, outside dimension for the bottle opening would be 2.165 inches. If you currently have a snap cap for the bottle the outside dimension of that cap is about 2.75 inches. ..... Look for this product in a 12 pack for discount pricing.

Copco Cold Beverage Travel Cup, Pink Butterfly/Daisy Review

(More customer reviews)I strongly prefer drinking with a straw. Not everyone does, but I do. The frustrating part is finding a straw. They never give you one on airplanes, for example.
With this cup, however, I'm always able to enjoy my beverages with a straw! The permanent plastic straw is something I can grab separate from the cup, but with the cup, it works even better. The cup is nicely insulated. I've filled it with ice in the morning and come back to my car in the evening (on a 65 degree sunny day) to find a few cubes of ice still left. It also fits very nicely in the (often hard to fit) cupholder of my 2003 Nissan Sentra.
Also, this cup is remarkably spill-proof. There's a little plastic gasket that fits around the straw inside the cup. If the cup tips, the gasket keeps the straw from falling out and also stops even a drop from coming out of the opening in the lid. Perfect!
The pattern is adorable, too. I bought it in every color.

Filmtec Membranes TW30-1812-50 Review

(More customer reviews)This is review of "Dow Filmtec Residential RO Membrane". While it should work as described, DO NOT USE on Watts Premier WP systems (i.e. WP-4V, WP-4, WP-5). The WP systems are the one-piece manifold systems from Watts Premier.
This does not have the built-in Check Valve or Brine Seal inside the white plastic tube of the RO Membrane. Without this Check Valve or Brine Seal, water from the reservoir tank (when full) will back flow to the RO membrane and damage it, and waste water.
This back flow or reverse flow will happen when your reservoir tank gets full. So basically, you will be wasting water as the water trickle will not stop. When I tested it, water continued to trickle out of the reject water outlet tube even when my reservoir tank is full already (it should stop when reserve tank is full). The water coming out is at a much slower rate though, but still plenty enough to raise your water bill since the water trickle will continue 24 hours a day.

Blender blade cutter for Oster & Osterizer blenders Review

(More customer reviews)This blender blade/cutter does not work well for pureeing foods that are anything but thin and watery. This is caused by excessive pitch to the blades that results in overly strong pumping action and cavitation. i.e., when used to puree significantly viscous foods, the blades draw a lot of air down and end up not circulating the contents but only working the lower portion. My sense is that the pitch of the blades needs to be reduced about 50%.

Rubber o-ring gasket seal for Oster & Osterizer, 3 PACK. Review

(More customer reviews)Other sets include 2 rings for a slightly higher price. Those rings are made with a smoother material and are thicker and will withstand a lot of use and even abuse.
This 3 pack is made of a very cheap material. They work, but I don't expect them to last very long. I'd rather pay more for solid goods that don't feel cheap and will withstand some average use.

Flat rubber o-ring seal. A common replacement part, this seal sits between the top of the blade and the botom of the jar. Only one seal is needed per blender. Fits ALL Oster blenders, Osterizers and Oster Kitchen Centers. Also fits some Sunbeam models which use a metal drive pin. Package of 3 seals.

(More customer reviews)Not only do all the parts of this replacement set fit on my Osterizer blender, but this kit includes an ICE CRUSHER blade. The ice-crusher blade not only crushes ice...but it blends far more thoroughly than the orginal, regular blade, which originally came with my Osterizer. The ice-crusher blade looks similar to the regular blade -- but one tine is much, much longer and larger than the other three. This "ice-crusher" blade mixes smoothies and sandwhich spreads far, far more quickly and efficiently than the regular blade. "Not for ice-crushing only"! And all the other equipment comes with it, as well! All just the same as on my original machine -- except that the cover part, here, is of a more flexible plastic, whilst my original was of a hard plastic. But they work exactly the same! Wheeee! : )

Oster 4961 Ice Blade Review

Lately, the margaritas were coming out with chunks of ice, and I thought it was because the motor was getting weak. After reading the reviews, I decided to try replacing the blade rather than forking out for an entire new blender. OH MY WORD!!!!! It truly is like having a new blender!! The margaritas are so smooth... no more ice chunks! I don't care where it is made - it will renew your old blender. Highly recommended.
