(More customer reviews)Excellent product, easy to use and the snowflakes have lots of detail and come in several different shapes, all aproximately 5/8" to a little over 1 inch in diameter. We used a popular "candy melt" to fill the molds and simply waited for them to dry (about a half hour), popped them out of the mold and they were ready to be used as cupcake decorations.

(More customer reviews)First, to clarify from the picture, you only get one mold. The silicone used is very high quality--smooth, strong, flexible. The molded pieces of chocolate are approximately 4-5g each, so filling the mold will take only about 2 ounces of chocolate. The small capacity is my only reason for 4 stars. I wish I had a half or even quarter sheet size mold.
I've been making my own chocolate, and found that pieces molded in this are shiny and look very attractive. The small size means they cool very quickly. Once solid, the chocolates separate very easily from the mold.
Manufacturer's part number is SCG11. Their specs are:

(More customer reviews)I got this mold for soap making. It's perfect for guest-type soaps, a nice shape, size, details are good. I had no trouble getting my unscented soaps out of the mold. Other soaps made with fragrance oils and herbs seems to be a bit trickier to come out but I'm a beginner soaper so I can't say if it's the mold or my skills (probably the latter).
Definitely worth the money!

Lekue Silicone Ice Cube Tray, Shell Review

(More customer reviews)This is great as an ice tray; you don't have to run water over the bottom, crack and twist the tray, and then get splintered ice, drips all over your kitchen, and too many or too few cubes. You don't have to turn it upside down; just push from the bottom and get exactly however many cubes--I mean, shells! you want, with no breakage or mess. The tray is a little soft and flexible so you do have to find a flat place in the freezer for it, and when I stacked another tray on top I got a little bit of "stickage" and a few misshapen shells; not a big deal unless you wanted perfectly shaped decorative ice.
Tonight I also used them to make chocolates (by melting chocolate chips & peanut butter together), and am very pleased with the detailed design and how easy it is to remove the candies; you can stretch the silicone a little bit so you don't lose the detail of the shells, and the others are not disturbed . These would make lovely butter pats too! Each well holds exactly one tablespoon of liquid.

So I think it's a little more sanitary too--you don't have to handle the ice shapes much, or have them skittering all over the counter! The tray is a little soft and flexible so you do have to find a flat place in the freezer for it, and when I stacked another tray on top I got a little bit of "stickage" and a few misshapen hearts; not a big deal unless you wanted perfectly shaped decorative ice.
Tonight I also used them to make chocolates (by melting chocolate chips & peanut butter together), and am very pleased with how easy it is to remove the candies. I thought I might break the "points" off some of the hearts, but the silicone is stretchy so that didn't happen, and removing one doesn't disturb the others. These would make lovely butter pats too! Each well holds exactly one tablespoon of liquid.

I have used it for molding chocolate lego minifigures for our school store.
