(More customer reviews)This is a great little cooler. I have used it for a 10 person team in a hot climate. I fill it completely with ice and then fill it with water. It will keep ice water for two whole days and even a little into the third day then I need to start over. The lid does not screw on it is pressure fit. Don't forget to order a paper cup holder if you are using it as I am for a crew. There is a holder grip on the side but the cups and holders are sold separately. Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)I bought this as a gift for my Wife... actually, I gave her the promise of making frozen drinks such as Rum Runners and Orange Julius knock-offs. So I actually get to operate the machine and she benefits from my love of gadgetry!
I think it works better if you CRUSH THE ICE BEFORE ADDING LIQUID. This is my opinion, but since it did NOT come with an Owners Manual, I'm not sure if this is correct (as the Engineer that designed it).
Long story short, IT WORKS, QUICKLY!
(OK so it's loud... but after the second glass, you can't tell anyway.)
P.S. If anyone from Nostalgia Electrics reads this, please make the Owners Manual available to download on your website. Thank you!!!

The con: If it doesn't ship from Amazon with FSSS you pay a hefty shipping cost because its heavy.
Other Thoughts: its a must have for every snow/ice storms!

Euro-Pro Slushie Maker Review

(More customer reviews)O.K. Nobody out there could have been rooting for this little machine more than me. My husband bought this for me for Christmas (2005). I was thrilled...until we tried to use the thing. First of all, forget any of the recipies in the book. On that day we tried the very first one. All of a sudden, the machine started jumping around and making a loud clicking noise. We stopped it and looked and there was ice frozen all around the outside of the container. We melted that off and tried again. Same thing. Now, 4 months later, we have managed to get the machine to actually make slushies (within 30 minutes) only about 30% of the time. This machine will only make them with very high sugar solutions...even pop takes awhile. (We've been successful at using Kool-Aid with only about 3/4 as much water as it calls for.) The instructions say to keep adding ice/salt until it gets about an inch from the top. NO! We have found through trial and error that any ice/salt more than 1/2 way up the container will cause this finnicky machie to freeze up and stop. The slushies are of a good consistency when they actually work, but our whole family of 6 agrees that this is a better idea than actual product. Takes A LONG time and 32 oz of fluid will only make slushies for 1-2 people unless you give them out in tiny paper cups. Not good for parties, etc. like it says on the box. Kids would be crying all over. Also, the machine is VERY loud. Hard to have a conversation and you need to constantly check it and add tiny bits of ice. A real pain. The pour spout is nice, and it is easy to clean, but the frustration level is so high on this machine. Following their little instruction book to the letter just won't work. Like I said, everyone in our house has tried it, and it is just LOUD and FRUSTRATING...especially since when you crave a slushie, you CRAVE a slushie and want it then...not maybe, if you are lucky, in 30 minutes or so. Machine needs improvements...I'd spend my money on a better machine. Sad to say, but only 2 stars.

(More customer reviews)Superbly engineered and well-made, this is the best snow broom I've ever owned. I've had it for two New England winters, and it's held up well and performed flawlessly.
The broom head pivots and has several locking positions, which allows you to angle it like a snow plow and methodically work the snow off your windshield, with gravity's help.
This year I bought a Honda Pilot, a sizable SUV which can take a lot of snow on its roof. Now I truly appreciate the value of the extending handle. With its 60" reach, I can get the snow off the entire roof while standing in one spot beside the car. No walking around, no getting snow in my boots!
The only downside is that it's so good that my wife confiscated it from me. I had to buy another one. Actually, I bought a few, to give as presents to my family.

(More customer reviews)I bought this icy machine about three years ago, and I absolutely loved it. I liked the look, and it shaved ice very well. I paid around 50 to 60 for this product. After making approximately 50 snow cones in it though, it broke. The gears just kept grinding, but it would not shave ice anymore. I figured the blades had gotten dull. Therefore, I went out and bought a 30 dollar sharpening kit from a local hardware store. I sharpened the blades where they would cut the hair off of my arm like a razor. Still, it would not work. Therefore, I paid about a dollar per cup of shaved ice. I would have been better off buying my slushies at the local convenience store after I factored in the cost of ice and flavoring. It just is not worth the price for as little amount of time as it last.

And I have to say I am glad I had this mat out before it started. Not only does it clean off easy, it doesn't move when walking on it or cleaning it. Coleman 100-Quart Xtreme Cooler (Blue) Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this cooler to augment my already well used Igloo five-day cooler (which I love.) We took them both camping and I was shocked to find that I had to keep restocking this cooler with ice every two days. The lid is designed to be pushed down, but has no tight lid-locking mechanism like the Igloo does, so I'm guessing that's the major difference. Although we took great pains to make sure that we tapped the lid down all the way around everytime we removed something from the cooler, it just did not work as advertised. I am very disappointed in this product. If it weren't for the fact that I would have to pay back the "prime" shipping if I returned it to Amazon, along with the return shipping and restocking fees, I would send it back immediately. I did email Coleman about this product, but have yet to receive any reply from them. My advice? Buy the Igloo and save money in the long run.

Lugez LED Red Review

(More customer reviews)I bought one red and one blue LED puck for use with a luge and unless mine was faulty the red didn't work that well. The blue puck nearly lit the entire luge and looked amazing, I highly recommend it, but the red wasn't nearly as noticeable. If you're luge kinda required red it's prolly worth it, but if color is an option I'd try a different one.

(More customer reviews)I bought this thing while I was camping. Our firewood was a bit damp and I was having trouble getting the campfire started. With this handy-dandy roaster, I had a bonfire within a minute or so. Then, I decided to use it on the weeds at home. The instructions warn against using the torch near conifers (like Evergreen-type shrubs, bushes, topiaries), so I stayed about 5 feet away from those. Well, this thing is hotter than the blazes of Hell and Damnation itself! I roasted a few of my bushes, but thankfully, they've started to come back. We just had a few inches of snow here in Chicago and I drove over it in the driveway. I ended up with icy patches of packed snow and figured I'd pull out Satan's air conditioner. Not only did it melt those ice patches faster than a hooker drops her panties, it melted a five foot section of snow (about 3 inches deep) in front of the nozzle. Well, after that, I just had to screw around with it. I cooked a frozen hot-dog in less than 30 seconds. OK, "cooked" is the wrong word. I turned a frozen hot dog into a pile of ash. Since that was fun, I tried it with an old cell-phone I had laying around. It stunk, but man it was cool to watch it turn into a gelatinous pile of stink. Someone else mentioned having to roast your weeds and then come back to weed by hand a week later. That's totally unnecessary. Just hold the flame on the weed for about 10 seconds and it'll kill it, burn it, turn it to ash, and then burn the ash into smaller ash. The roots will be dead and the weed will never return. OK, maybe it will, but I roasted a section of stone in my backyard that had weeds growing up. It's been nearly 2 years and nothing has grown there. Yeah, it sounds like a jet engine when you fire it up, but it's awesome! I highly recommend this for weed burning, camp fire starting, party tricks, and hot dog cremation. And next week, I'm going to head over to my mean, old, crotchety neighbor's house in the middle of the night and burn "A-Hole" into his lawn. Man, I can't wait till my kid's hamster bites the dust!

As an interior designer, I am recommending this line to one of my best customers (that could afford almost anything!) I made one modification to the ice buckets - I drilled a few holes in the bottom so the water would drain. Since these tables have an open filigree design on the tops, when it rains, the buckets will get water in them. I will mostly use the buckets to store suntan oils, sunscreen and bug sprays unless I am entertaining. Then, I will wash them and put them in the freezer to chill them a while before using them as icebuckets. Pop in a few plastic frozen igloo bricks on the bottom, and the ice might actually last several hours! Another idea would be to use them as planters and place some pretty colorful rocks on the top of the soil. I do really love the tables.

(More customer reviews)I never thought a pair of ice cube trays could disappoint me so much, but these are just terrible. For starters, they don't stack, which is just plain stupid. In addition, it is frustratingly difficult to remove the cubes from the tray. While you struggle with that, you spray tiny frozen droplets all over the place due to the fact that the trays have numerous places where stray water droplets can get caught up while filling. Don't waste your money on this crap.
